Rep Power: 51   | Tips on renting an RV My family and I are renting an RV to go to Missouri for a family reunion. Has anybody ever rented one? If so, how did it go and what should we look for. We have 6 people traveling.

Rep Power: 24 | Re: Tips on renting an RV HEY B...my uncle owns an RV dealership in CT so I know a little about this. A week rental of an RV can be VERY expensive. I looked into renting one before I bought mine (No I can't rent mine out, the ex took it in the divorce) I think to go to Florida for a week was over $2000. I would rent a van and stay in a motel...it's cheaper.

Rep Power: 21 | Re: Tips on renting an RV My family did not rent but bought one for trips. Let me just say this, you are stuck with those people for the length of the trip. So be sure you really enjoy their company!!! After a year they sold it because every kept driving seperate. :)

I'm going with my family and my mom and step dad are coming. We found a place that will rent us one for $3,000 for the week and charge No Mileage. and One for $1300 for the week with 700 miles included then $.25 a mile after that. We wanted to drive to Nashville then to St. Louis from Dallas. I'm not sure what to do.
