Rep Power: 0 | Bad Customer Odor I need some advice.. I have a customer that comes into our business and has a really bad odor about himself. The other day it was so bad, I had to get the spray in the bathroom and run around the salon with the trigger pulled until the odor went away. He likes my stand-up bed, but everytime he uses it, it reaks and I have to spray it out! He is probably in his 40's biker type and i think the smell is either Hemp or bad hygiene. How do you approach a customer like this and what the **** do you say to him? Our salon is upscale and has some of the best paying clientele in my area and I don't want them to leave because he stinks !!! I know he is a drifter and should be drifting on soon, but not soon enough. I do have the "we reserve right to refuse service" sign posted, but... I don't enforce it.... Thanks

Rep Power: 27 | Re: Bad Customer Odor Give him a sample of something like Platium Zero That euculuptus/spearmint scent should over power the body odor. See if the stank is still around. If not, talk up how the lotion perked up his tan. Maybe you can talk him into a full size bottle, or at least a sample everytime. |

Rep Power: 43 | Re: Bad Customer Odor We've had a few customers who work in factories that have a chemical kind of smell when they sweat. They really can't help it.... We just asked them trying to do it politely, but it was very difficult. They were very embarrassed and had even showered before they came to us, but that doesn't help. Maybe a lotion can do the trick... that would be my first try too.
