When I saw those pictures in an email I searched as well and found them linked to a story from 2004 As stated I have a friend from mexico NY that had sent some pictures but they aren't as dramatic as these I think he ended up with around 142 inches of snow at their home. He really does have a car lost in his front yard someplace.
