meet "tanner"... now even on slow days, i can always say i have at least one tanner... corny, i know! he just really looks like a tanner... this is the best shot i could get of him, because he literally won't stop MOVING! he is 12 weeks old, and adorable!

Now that's a cute puppy! Congrats! I wanted to call mine Tanner, but my daughters thought it was too masculine, that's why she ended up being called Tana, short for Montana.

i have three dogs, and one cat... i think i need the energy! we have always had at least 3 animals in the house!

he is soooo cute, but he seriously won't stop moving to take a good picture!

only downside is i normally do not do puppies... we usually adopt older dogs. i do not know what to do with a puppy... how do they pottie train? how do you keep an eye on them... puppies are movers!

i am feeling overwhelmed about right now!

When we got our puppy we just watched her everytime she was sniffing we would say go potty and open the door. She's a basset hound and they sniff all the time. If she had an accident we would say no and let her outside. It took about 3 weeks to get it down, we never used wee wee pads, and we crated her at night. That really helped in the learning process, typically animals will not pee/poop where they sleep.

Most of the time the pup will follow the grownup dogs and learn from them. But keep an eye for a few days until tanner gets more comfortable with big brother and sisters. Vise versa...

I bought the big Kennel for my pup thinking I would need it at work and at home. One day is all he needed it. He is very tame and just lays arounds most of the time. He does like to walk in the park. OMG it's too cold for me.

I CANNOT WAIT TO GO TO WORK TOMORROW, SO THAT I CAN SEE JACK!!! HE HAS THE SWEETEST DISPOSITION AND I LOVE TO RUB HIS EARS AND TELL HIM THAT WE LOVE HIM!!!


WORD ON TANNER... HE HAS GONE POOPY AND POTTY OUTSIDE ALL MORNING. I AM TEACHING HIM TO PLAY FETCH AND HE COMES WHEN I TAP MY NAILS ON THE TILE, SO I TAP AND SAY COME TANNER AND HE IS RESPONDING! YAY!

THE BEST NEWS SO FAR IS THAT TANNER AND FLEA THE CAT GET ALONG ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! THE CAT NEEDS TO PLAY AND NOW HE HAS A NEW FRIEND WHO ALSO NEEDS TO PLAY (WILL POST PICS TOMORROW), IT IS SOOO FUN FOR THEM AND SOOOO FUN TO WATCH! TANNER EVEN GRABBED HIS ROPE AND TOOK IT TO THE CAT TO PLAY WITH.

I AM WORN OUT THOUGH AND CLEANING A BED RIGHT NOW SOUNDS NICE!
