Let the games begin.....its that time of year
Me: Good morning!
Them: Can I have a copy of your flyer Me: Most certainly you can.....(then I start rambling off our prices and specials) Them: Can I have your Feb, March, and April flyer Me: I haven't quite come up with those months specials but I have a copy of our base prices Them: why don't you have them? Me: I have an idea on each month but I don't finalize what I will run until closer to each month, I don't print them off til alot closer either.... Them: I see well what are you thinking for those months Me: I have the best special for your 4 months for yada and then you don't have to worry!:)~ them: I will just take a single session Why Would anyone need this many months at once! Grrr then question me on it! Them: How many bottles of lotion do you stock right now (by this point I am thinking spy.....) Me: (I start to tell them about some awesume lotion then give up)1000 we have a hole locked room dedicated to bottles.... Them: Why do you only have Coke Cola prodcuts Me: (hehe) because Pepsi has ingrediants that mess up the tanning process (truth coke was cheapier this week)(bring it on ask my some more questions you *** who is probably opening a salon) At this point in the interrogation About 6 clients come in and two are bragging about how much they loves the salon so much better then the others on this side.....(now praying this ******* at the counter owns one already, slap in the face) Them: How many employees do you have? Me: May I ask what this has do with tanning? Them: I want to make sure your salon is stable, had bad experiences... Me: I have 8 employees (i have 3) (stable would ringing your little neck show you how stable!) Me: well let me give your a tour ( i gave a detailed tour over the top infact) Me: Are you ready for the best tan this side of tan has and will ever offer! They go into tan.....When they come out I go Good luck with your salon Them:(stop dead in their tracks) Huh....How'd you know....... GEEE I WONDER HOW......I really wonder....... |

humor are the little thoughts that run through my head......I should learn to be an a$$ that would be humerous.....then I actually say what I thought.... I fabricated the truths to them...Either they will copy my bogus lies or they will think I am the big baller on this side
If they had come out been honest I would have been too I have nothing to hide....I won't tell you my secrets to success but I will be honest....Give some good advice like.... if you haven't had your build out down yet sell your equipment and run for your life..... If you have had your buildout down use the rooms as offices and open something that runs for a full calander year:) |

Yes but your made of steel and carry a blow torch.....Me booting them in the *** would have only knocked them into the standup not out the door...

I am sure we have all at leats called our competition for their hours or something but be sauve when you do it....... One of my competition got a new bed(that I had almost bought a month before) so I went into try it out.....wasn't impressed so I wasn't worried about its hype which I knew would fizzle....But I bought a packet looked around and was very very nice....

Just enjoy being on top!!! The lady obviously thinks you are the salon to mimic... and if someone thinks you are good enough to copy ... well just enjoy knowing that you are very good at what you do. The same thing has happened to me several times in the past! The last place i was at simply changed the name of the therapist at the bottom of my menu!!! What a joke...at least thats what many of my loyal clients have said. Some people simply have no ethics, or good taste!! Hope this helps!!
