Kids... what a pain in the #*($#%#)$

I have an 18 year old and a 17 year old, both girls, and my son is 11.

My 18 year old is about to get on my last nerve... Smart mouth, pain in my ***, cocky little #*@(@.....

My 17 year old, straight A's in all college courses in school, a little sassy at times, but for the most part.. shes a great kid..

My 11 year old.. my baby... still pretty much listens without mouthing off...

Any suggestions on what to do about the 18 year old... She thinks everyone owes her in life... She is just like her father, and thinks she knows everything. Ready to give her a harsh lesson and kick her out... she doesn't work, she keeps drifting in and out of school.. urghhhh frustration here...

It kills me. I am paying for her car, her insurance and her gas... feeding her., keeping a roof over her head, paying for the clothes on her back.. and I get this crap from her... I am seriously thinking of kicking her out to teach her a lesson. She doesn't appreciate anything.

it's tough... go with your heart and your gut instincts!

i have never been kicked out, but my mom threatened too once... so i got a job and met my husband at said job and THEN I BECAME HIS PROBLEM... hee hee! true story!

okay, so my mom is STILL helping me out... but she says she wouldn't have it any other way. and my grandpa endorsed her helping me out too! it is a family thing i guess... but i NEVER mouth off or give her ****... that has never been my thing! i guess our story is different, sorry!

I give her everything, and get treated like crap. I will not put up with it anymore... I am the parent and if she thinks she can make it on her own with no job, no money and no education, well I may just let her give it a whirl

you have to stop paying all her debts, unfortunately they never know how good they have it until the real world slaps them in the kisser. It's not an easy thing to do, but sometimes it has to be done. I have 3 girls, 13, 15 and 21, I feel for you.

I would say cut off on her expenses, I dont think that she is legal at 18 where you live, is she ?

in NC you actually legal at 16. meaning you can move out of your parents house.
