For you Canadians

Watching a show on TV last night and one of the ladies on it pronounced some of her words with a slightly canadian accent. I was imitating her and one of the things she said sounded really stupid so I said, "She must be stupid."

My son says, "No, mom..I don't think she's Canadian."

((Please note that I didn't say it, my son did.))

I've never heard of Canadian accent. As in the States depending which part of the country you are from you can have some kind of an accent but I was not aware that there was such thing as a Canadian accent.

As for me I have a French accent when I speak English and an English accent when I speak French !

It's kind of an odd pronunciation of the "o" sound. Like with the word about comes out sounding kind of like aboot.
