Supposedly they will have 100,000 fewer units at launch than Microsoft had with XBOX 360 the same time last year. We all know how hard (impossible) it was to get one of those.

10 years ago, my mommy waited in the back of a toysrus for the delivery truck to arrive so that she could fight with other mommys to get her hand on the original tickle me elmo for my daughter (9 months old at the time). she is 10 years old now, he still laughs and giggles, lives in my bedroom now and i will never part with him... i still have one of the first cabbage patch kids from when i was 9 years old. my uncle worked at a k-mart at the time and they were able to jump through hoops to get them, it still means the world to me.

i am sure you will be able to get one for your son, and i am sure it will mean so much to him!!!

in 1996 The same thing happened with the tickle me elmos. I had one and was walking through the airport with it and someone tried to snatch it out of my hand, They where really suprised when me elbow went to the side of thier head!! I could not believe that lady! she told the security guys I was a wful person for hitting her with my elbow because she was 70 yrs old, I was like lady your not my grandmom ..... she looked at me like I was nuts, I was like she came running up behind me and tried taking the DOLL!!! no charges ended up being pressed by either of us. I will never forget that.

OMG!!! Why don't they just make enough dolls to prevent this chaios? This is the first year that I have had to deal with this & I thought hey....it's october...it's not like I am waiting til the last minute. This is just insane....I do remember the Cabbage Patch craze...I got one. Has anyone ever seen that movie "Jingle All the Way"....
