Owning a biz cuz problems? - tanTALK

Has or Is anyone on here have/had problems with their gf/bf, husband/wife or fiance's about having to work all the time? I'm newly engaged and it seems like my fiance and I fight all the time about me working all the time. It drives him crazy when I come home and do work in the office. If anyone has suggestions for me please give them to me but be kind. Thanks....

yeah fighting all the time probably isn't a good thing. The only way I can do it is because my fiance is working all the time also. NO fighting.

We don't fight all the time about it but we do fight at least once a month about it. He doesn't understand why I can't leave the shop when my employee comes in to finish out the night. He doesn't understand why I leave an hour after she gets to work and why I have to do paperwork at home. He works a lot as well but when he clocks out he NEVER thinks about work until he clocks in the next day. I told him to help out around the shop and start learning things since we will soon be married and the store will be a big part of our marriage and he tells me he doesn't want to get in my way.

Same as TWO: we both work all the time, so no time to fight.

We share a business and have divided the tasks very clearly. So we do see eachother a lot and share moments you might want to talk about...

Dump his goofy a$$. You are pretty (if that is you in your avatar) AND you work! What a combination! You don't find women that are good looking, hard working and single.

Sleek, my hub and I are just getting to that point. He really seems to be suffering because of my being distracted. We aren't fighting, but he has seemed depressed a few times... Today he made a horrible remark about if I didn't do such & such he'd sell the salon and throw me out on my butt, in jest of course but I had to wonder where it came from.

O we've been together 15 years, BTW. Doubt it would work if we were in our early days!!
