Not The Freaking Mop! - tanTALK

I've bought sponge mops, expensive, industrial mops, swiffer mops, cotton mops, clorox mops, squeeze mops, ring mops and every other kinda mop I could find shopping retail --I know the staff is not mopping like machines--so, what could be the mop problem with them? No, mop is right, or works well, or whatever the reason is for asking me to buy a NEW MOP for the salon. Have I not found and purchased the king of mops? Is a search for the perfect mopping aparatus fruitless? One more mop comment/request and I'm gonna be mopping up blood.

ive been there too. seems the mops work fine when i use them same goes for the vacuum. its the operator

I seem to be the only one who knows how to use the mop..be glad yours use one.Mine "VACUUM".big deal. They don't clean bathrooms either.

I feel your pain sista. I've tried all the different mops. We have high wax floors and it always looks streaky. Tried all kinds of cleaner and solutions, too. Only time it looks right is when I pay a guy 250 to professionally clean it!

CTM has it. I get the same response from employee's. The vacuum doesn't work or there's something wrong with the mop comments. As for the vacuum, it's either "did you empty the dust bucket" or "try plugging it in and turning it on". With the mop issues, it's usually about them not rinsing it out occasionally. "Oh, I have to rinse it out too? No, the mop fairy will do it"

oh, she did sweep the bathroom the other day, and was so proud that she "cleaned the bathroom"... because here we apparently have toilet fairies and dust fairies and web cleaning fairies too.

Same thing here, I stood over one new girl while she cleaned the bathroom and pointed out everything she didn't do... WTF, If I do it, you better bet you sure as **** will do it...

Everytime i have someone interview for a job.....everyone , i ask them to clean the bathroom. Right then and there......b4 their even hired. I stand there and watch. They don't even have to do it well , i justwant to see their attitude. If they don't really know what their doin' , i'll show them right then and there. Then there's no excuses down the road.
