Who here has a home bed???
If so.... How many bulbs, what company, and how often do you tan in it????

I don't have one at home. I should steal one from the salon...maybe I'd tan more. Mali has one at home.

Minr is not a home unit. It is a sonnenbraune 44 bulb bed with 3 facials. I use it when I don't use the ones at my salon.I had to have my electrican come wire my house for it.

I had thought about taking one from the salon and putting it in at home too. Just don't get to tan as often as I would like at the salon......then again, it would probably end up just like all of my work out equipment and turn into very expensive clothing racks!!!!! LOL! :)

I used to have an ETS Sunquest (I think) 24 bulbs. didn't tan very often, sold it about 6 months after opening the salon

Tannie, thats why I got mine. I couldn't get in early enough before I opened to tan, and when it is time for me to go, I am gone LOL. And the LAST thing I want to do on my day off is go to the salon, cuz ya know you can never just walk in and walk out.... I had all but lost my tan, then I put the bed in my house, and ya know, I enjoy tanning again all over LOL! Think of it this way, when you go to do paper work at home, you can just say... well I need to tan first and go take a 20 minute nap instead :)

Ah...... well cuz i was really badly wanting a home bed and like a cheap one like a used sunstar or a used tan america.... cuz if i could finance or do monthly payments, i could afford one... but the room is a problem.... Well thanks! just wondering.
And Maliy, did you have to do anything for extra a/c or venting?? And was your elctricity bill higher when you got the bed?

matrix, don't froget you will need an appropriate electrical circuit installed, most all will run of 220vac and may also need a buck boost trans. I had a little room built in the basement so cooling wasn't a problem since is usually is cool there.
if you buy used, you probably won't know the hours on the bulbs unless you get a bed with an hour meter. the smaller bed made for home use usually don't

Well i was looking at NEW beds like 24 bulbs for like $70 per month with new bulbs, and they are 2006 beds....

Then maybe used tan america 32 bulb vip's cuz thats what my salon has... and their bulbs are amazing.
