Video stores are struggling with this situation everyday. Walmart has severely devalued the video industry and the movie studios are only to happy to help them. My distributor charges me $18.89 (cost plus 5%) for a new release dvd while Walmart consistently sells them for $14.87 in my market. Walmart recieves a generouse amount of money for advertising and placement (and I'm sure better pricing) is how they are able to sell dvd's so much less than a distributor. On an average month I purchase 1600 new release dvd's. If I purchase those dvd's from Walmart I add $6400 per month to my bottom line. Walmart is now the video distributor of choice for an ever increasing number of independent video rentailers. It's one reason why my business continues to increase every year while Blockbuster loses a billion dollars per year and is now on the verge of Bankrupty.

If you were in my position would you still be able to make that statement?

What would you do if they started selling all the major lotion lines? Don't say PL...lol

Hmmmmm maybe I should be selling Wall-Marrrrt Private Lotion line instead of CoCopelli, Maybe then I could be making BILLIONS of dollars
