Personally not a fan of the death penalty. Who does that punish but the offenders family? But, I don't know the case, so I won't comment.

Personally speaking--- my all time favorite cousin, his 2 year old son, and 6 year old son were murdered in their own home.By a crazy neighbor. Just snapped...we never relally found out any reason why. His mother-in-law, & wife were badly wounded. The only one not hurt was his 6 month old son and I still think that that man should sit in jail and rot. He has plenty of time to THINK about why he was put there. JMHO.
PS that was the last furneral I ever went to and that was 19 years ago...

i dont think they should breathe another breath..lay their head upon a pillow, swallow a bite of food..this has taken wayyyyy to long and cost tax payers wayyyy too much money..i dont believe in redemption in murder cases and i hope arnold has the balls to do the right thing

I used to think that they should rot in prison until watching the Green River Killer Case unfold here in of city. He strangled, raped and hid their bodies so he could go back and perform sexual act on them after they were dead. He left many mothers, fathers, sister and brothers of these unfortuante women with no closure for 30 years. He cut a deal in the end to tell where the bodies were located in exchange for not being put to death which is now being used as a precidence in some other murder cases. Everyone thought, fine let him go to prison and be Bubba's ***** for the remainder of his life, but it put our state in the strange position of knowing he would be raped, abused or worse, and therefore having to provide him protection from all of the other mother rapers in the pen. After watching Sherriff Dave Reichert weep for the women and their families he had worked for 30 years to bring some closure to, I cannot feel it was justice. I was always against the death penalty, but now I understand the reason for its existance.

I have gone to every jury summons I have ever gotten and believe me, they don't want me on their juries...

People can stand on their "no death penalty" principles all they want, until it is their daughter or sister or mother who is raped, stabbed or bludgeoned to death.

We recently had a situation in a courtromm here locally, where a young man was being sentenced for beating a 67 year old man to death with his bare hands. At the sentencing, the judge gave him 30 years for the callus way this man was murdered. Then in this packed courtroom where both the family of the victim and the killer were present, the mother of the killer steps forward and says."He was 67 years old for Gods' sake, How long did you think he was going to live"?

At which point his daughter leaped over 3 policemen and knocked the crap out of her.
Her comments explained why this 17 year old man was able to kill someone with his bare hands.

With valid proof..and I say ..let them in the room with the victims family members and friends. and let nature take its course. JMHO IF he comes out alive ...he rots in jail. There is something to be said the old eye for an eye thing BUT a corrupt goverment and legal system is hard to for me to trust. I mean OJ is playing golf people.... Micheal Jackson is free.

Like I said that is opening pandoras box ..asking for opinions on politics and death penalty. JMHO

I so agree! ....for the most part, I am all for the death penalty, I just worry about all those people who have been wrongly sent to jail because the system failed them. There is no perfect solution, and I understand mistakes are going to happen. In a case like this one tho, if there is no doubt they are guilty, I would have no problem with the heartless b@st*rd being ripped to shreds by the families of the victims, or by a pack of wolves, whatever does the trick! MJ is right too, that this is a subject that can stir up some heated opinions, so I would like to add that I am sorry if my opinion has offended anyone.
