In my opinion, the best lotion to use on your face for tanning and/or moisturizing is John Abate Carotene Creme. I use it everyday whether I tan or not. It has Vitamin A and carrot oil in it which are both great for the skin. Another reason I use it is because from tanning, I get dry patches around my nose and under my bottom lip on both sides of my chin. It gets flaky there and the Carotene Creme is the only creme that gets rid of the flaking.

Sometimes just for daily moisturizing I use the Carotene Creme with a few drops of our JA Anti-blemish complex. I have never broken out with the Carotene Creme, but the anti-blemish complex is like added insurance. Plus, the combination of the two makes my skin so soft.

As far as tingles on the face, I always say in my seminars that I personally don't use tingle on MY face, but that we do make the Facial Oil with a tingle of 2 for those who insist on it. We don't think you should go higher than 2 on your face anyway. I always tell people that they shouldn't use whatever tingle lotion they use on their body on their face. I ask them if they would use the same moisturizer on both face and body at home, and they always say no...so then I ask why tanning lotions are any different. They usually don't have an answer...and end up buying a facial product.

Seems to be more of a PERSONAL opinion/preference to me.

what tara said is correct. I wouldn't recommened THEORY to anyone (unless they are degreasing an engine) but it's available.

Tingle on the face in moderation....just like everything.

It is her opinion E ..... correct or wrong ~ I would never quote Tara as the Bible on Tanning or Goo....

Which I believe is the issue here......

If Tara used Titanium on her face and bikin area ~ would that make it RIGHT?

The point is - - - - it may be right for her..... not new Testament #2

But you overstated your case in a way that made Engfant appear to be abusive and neglegent to his clients....

Not necessarily HIS clients, but I think everyone should view the wandering tanners here as potential clients. Afterall, you never know who's behind the puter or who might walk into your salon.

Rose..... the sites are not about gaining new clients ~ really.

But I do agree with you that presentation is not often done with pretty pink and blue ribbons.... (which is WHY I think tanners (of which I am now one) get directed to a site that is targeted towards them)....

Indoor Tanning has few good sites to represent it as a Professional Industry ~ ~

And yes..... there are some really BAD and Ignorant operators out there .... it's just that imho ~ Engfant is not one of em.

Sure he has a Tuff Love Approach ..... but if he really didn't give a sh*it - he would never respond .... c me say?

We all have different styles of communication...... and like Religion and Politics ~ this leads to war :)

Let's let if flow uninhibited...... really, I'm bored.
