Re: I've just gotta know...
I must have missed that post, because I always see the ENG telling people to use a good accelerator for tanning.
If you're using your time here to get people to go to your other site, you're wasting time. That site is just another place fort he kiddies to play. I can think of another place that is more suited to education. However, that means you have to put up with those salon owners that have some knowledge of the tanning industry and not a bunch of whiners and wannabe's. You need to do some researach yourself before accusing others of not knowing what they are talking about. I be you recommend your customers to use a tingle on their face too. SHEESH. |

Re: I've just gotta know...
There's also thousands of articles that claim Tanning is BAD.... but that's not the truth ~ and certainly not 'both sides of the story'.
While placing a strong stimulant product on the face (and other sensitive areas) is not wise for newbies or those that dislike this kind of product ~ it will not 'harm' the skin anymore than tanning after running a few miles.... Technically - as the face and neck are exposed to more environmental variables then the rest of the body - it can be damaged quicker ~ Some folks use an spf lotion of 15 on the face and neck every time.... I do myself ~ and others do indeed enjoy the results of the stimulant products on their face..... The fact remains ~ he has a right to his opinion. So do you .... but to shout for banning and censorship puts your opinion in a very dismal place. Common Sense ..... that's really what's needed..... skin type and condition, client goals, a good schedule of exposures ~ ~ it ain't rocket science.... (although Enfant could prolly build a rocket from a few 9K90s :) ) Don't be calling for censorship honey ~ ~ it makes me cranky. |

Re: I've just gotta know...
I am getting very nervous here. Sheila had a very "common Sense and nornal voiced" reply to the idiod Rose. On the otherhand, I was the one "going off" on her. Do you see something strange here?

Re: I've just gotta know...
Athens, You do not need to give ANY advice to my tanners, I am eduscated and take care of them. Lead the tanners over to Iamtan, and carry yourself as well.
everything you stated was very vague to say the least and you can not put all salon owners together in one category. I see MANY salon owners on this board giving VERY good advice, so please DO NOT think what you put in is the ONLY input of VALUE. It is great that you spent some free time "researching" skin care and tanning, we my dear LIVE it. Why not just leave it to the pros.... |
