The lotion people don't pester me near as much as the merchant services! It's gotten so bad that feel myself losing grip on the firm no and slipping to the straight up rude NO! They're almost as bad as MCI long distance services used to be calling you at home right as you sat down to dinner...OK, I'm done ranting...

lotion telemarketers are still the worst. Merchants services are gaining ground though.
The 500 different PBA organizations are third. I keep telling them " i only donate to my local......"
No is never good enough with anyone anymore. Do people honestly think if they badger me i'm gonna buy, or contribute ? Ok, now i'm done ranting also !

And if calling isn't bad enough...they love to pop in on top of you and a waiting room full of customers. Luckily I'm young and look very much like the random college age tanning salon employee. So does my partner...so we either act like we have no authority to make business decisions or my other fav....grab a package price list and the highest priced lotion and start inquiring about where they tan and how they should sign up on our VIP....and so on and so on.

Although one of the latest gimmicks that actually came into the salon was this weight loss patch. These people came in and wanted to give me a presentation on this stupid product. It was all I could do to contain my laughter. Both of them had the stupid things on...and needless to say, it didn't look like it was really doing them that much good. Are you kidding me? I'm not going to sell..or try to, anyway...my customers bs!

even if it's a good product, wouldn't you think they'd have the brains to nicely ask if you have a moment? I hate the salesman who just come in and start blabbing.......OUT!
