Rep Power: 0 | Ok, not to start Tan Talk fuss here - but people from California and Florida think they know all there is to know about tanning. And that me - the one that is certified and owns the salon knows nothing. I am in East Tennessee right outside of Knoxville. A couple of weeks ago we had a girl from Florida then yesterday we get a girl from California - both saying the same thing, "Oh no, I need to burn really good before I can start tanning." Then they both argued with me over the importance of lotions, saying that lotions are useless, especially those with bronzers becasue bronzers streak so bad...blaa, blaa, blaa. No matter what I said they argued with it. I even think at one point I said the sky was blue and they said, "No, it's purple!"... Has anyone else had this problem? I'm just venting... |

Rep Power: 107 | These people are everywhere!...it is a problem nationwide. Uneducated people. Find some good articles from the trade mags or smart tan info, make copies, and hand it out to these people. That is why we are here, to make the tanning world a better place. Hang in there Reisha, season has yet to begin....there are always those few customers who will just make you shake your head! |

They are everywhere...IMO. Thats right they are everywhere , as I am in California & we are a certified salon so please don't say we are all like that like cayenne said. Unfortunitly people think that they have to turn pink to get a tan , they also think that the hotter hte bed the better the tan !! we ALL have to deal with this. |

The thing that amuses me, is that THAT basic attitude seems to be shared by BOTH the “Forest Gumps” AND the “Einsteins” of this world. Go figure. Tom |
