Rep Power: 30 | Do you still have the carfax report? Before buying any used car, you should always take it to a mechanic to check it...the dealership is not going to tell you if it has ever been in an accident. It might be too late to do anything about it. Also, if you still have a warrenty on it, get it fixed under the warrenty. If that doesn't work, sell it! |

Rep Power: 71 | doesn't carfax have some type of warranty or policy. I think they do, something like they will buy the car back if they make a mistake. Maybe check into that also. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: Tanology on 2005-09-20 16:00 ] |

Rep Power: 0 | ok I have been in the car business for 8 yrs so listen pls, 4yr 50,000 mile warranty starts when the car was originally purchased so it will end when your car hit 50,000 miles or turns 4 yrs old. Unfortuantly carfax doesn't help you too much unless the car has been in a major accident or flooded check with you personal mechanic to see but I honestly doubt it the dealers usually notice that and don't want to get caught selling one. I am not sure what state you are in but most likley and I hate to tell you this you don't have to many rights you bought a "used car". my suggestion either complain like crazy and only to the owner nobody else will really care (because there is so much turnover is this business they want be there when you go to buy your next car), or sell it really quick. What state are you in and I might be able to help you a little more. |
