I read this twice (being such a dead day and all) and I still don't quite comprehend it......then again, I'm blonde. Whoever the author, I hope their not suggesting we deserved this deadly storm.

wow kinda get the goose bumps reading that..I actually printed it out to read it in my spare time.

I don't think they meant that they deserved the storm I get the Idea that the strom is part of terrorism an act from their God??

It is my belief that those people believe whatever they are told as long as the tale end of it is religious in some way, shape or form and they are made to believe they are doing the work of "their god".

Normally, I wouldn't touch a religiously laced thread with a ten foot scimitar. But hey, what else am I gonna do? Debate politics and disagree with Howard? It happens to be my "belief", that "all", or at least "many" people will "believe" just about anything, when they don't know, or haven't been taught to "know better". Religiously speaking, you have the big "2", funnily enough, just like oure political party system! (Here you go Howard, tear it up!) Both sides "believe" they are right; and both sides attempt to justify and prove that they are right, by trying to disprove and deligitimize the other. Never works. End up in a fight. To the death, as history shows from the inception of these two "right", and "wrong" religions. Forgive me if any of you are "offended" by what I have said here. Just an objective observation of the big picture. Peace be with all of you. And good luck too.

I agree with you 100% Mr. B! But very interesting to read their point of view in that article. Maybe if they now think that weather is going to do their dirty work for them, they'll leave us alone! (Unlikely!) Those people have way too much time on their hands. If only they were as dedicated to peace and making things better as they are dedicated to their religion, we would make some progress in this crazy world.

If there was even a modicrum of truth to the above statements, then hurricanes would be occurring in the middle east not the southern US, devistating our poor and infirmed.

Of course I saw where three of our own "christian spokepersons" ( can only think of P. Robertson, you know the preacher who wants the CIA to assisnate the Pres. Of a latin American country) said basicly the country got it,(the destruction) cause we haven't been following "GODS" word. Only tellin what I heard ,not what I know( I know EZ, that ain't much).
