Rep Power: 0 | Adult Proof Ringtone I don't know if anyone saw this on the Today Show but there is a very high pitched ringtone similar to a dog whistle that teenagers are supposed to be able to hear and most adults can't. Apparently, most adults lose the ability to hear high pitched noises which is why most of shouldn't be able to hear this. Anyway, here is the link to where you can download it and see if you can hear it. I can very faintly hear a high pitched tone like when your ears are ringing. How about anybody else???? http://www.npr.org/templates/story/s...toryId=5434687

basically so that kids can keep their cell phones on in school during class because according to the article, only a few people over the age of 30 can hear it. So most of the teachers won't be able to hear it ring. Maybe that's why I can still hear it. I played it for my employee tonight who is 17 and she heard it however, it was louder to her than it is to me.
