Rep Power: 26 | Ethical schmethical! It was just a case of sloppy paperwork. Husband got his way because it is the law. Get a clue. And get a Living Will! Yes, it is sad. Death always is. _________________ Jim "Entrepreneur Extraordinaire Since 1953" Read "Why Sunshine Is Good For You And Why Doctors Don't Want You To Know"[ This Message was edited by: Ezliving_Jim on 2005-03-31 13:16 ] |

Rep Power: 29 | Oh god Jim is losing it again. This thing was alive thanks to the miracle of modern science. NOTHING ELSE. SHE damaged her brain enough to render herself useless. This is NOT the same woman he married. This is a mass of living tissue being kept alive FOR 15 YEARS for no good reason. There is NO CHANCE of a brain repairing it. She should have been "put to sleep" long ago. Stop with the LIVING WILL. That's selfish, unrealistic CRAP. |

Rep Power: 0 | Engfant, Do you even know what a living will is? Why would it be selfish to leave a note saying "don't bother keeping me on the machines in case I ever get really sick or in an accident"??? Please explain. |

Rep Power: 29 | I misread that actually. I thought he wrote "living will" not an ACTUAL LIVING WILL. Ok ok Jim is correct. WRITE IT DOWN!!! I think Kramer make a living will on seinfeld. Funny stuff. This should have ended LONG ago, swiftly and painlessly. |
