My husband is a brick mason and has been for over 18 yrs, and soon will be going out on business for himself.

Question, is there a good software for us to get to walk us through, like takes, payroll, invoices etc? I want to help him out as much as I can....for he has been there for me. Please all, any advise I would be so greatful for.

Thank you.......
Sweetness.....

Quick Books should do the trick.

Seriously...Neon is right--QB is a pain in the ***...

Try Daceasy accounting by Sage Software. I used it for years before it went "all Windows", and several of my customers have been VERY happy with it...

Quickbooks is awesome but I had my CPA set it up and give me a couple hours of training. It was well worth it!! The program is awesome.

Quickbooks is about as easy as it gets and will do everything you need. Invoicing by customer and job, payroll, taxes, accounts payable/recievable. I've used it for 8 years to run 14 store locations and never had a problem with it.

Quickbooks is good but it does take a little time to learn all the features. Never have a problem with my payroll taxes being correct.

quickbooks is easy...we switched to Peachtree...and it is so much harder. Quickbooks is really easy to learn and is the best software out there, I wish we were still on it!
