Listen to this one.

Due to VERIZON's ignorance my business has been put on hold. About 2 weeks ago someone at Verizon allowed my DSL account to be cancelled without my knowledge by someone named Derrick something. Someone I ovbiously don't know and they can't confirm. VERIZON has done nothing to help the situation and now my (online)business suffers.
They are making me open a new account which means new e-mail which means all my online statements that I have NO IDEA on how to change the e-mail addresses are now screwed.

GOD FORBID I pay something late and mess up my credit.These asses could have cared less. They offered me complementary dial up (that I'm paying for since I'm still paying the bill on the DSL account that they cancelled) but I can't use it cause I can't get incoming calls. And even if I did bother to connect my e-mail wouldn't work cause it's tied into my account and CAN'T be transfered due to it being the main e-mail address on the account.
The clown had the nerve to remind me that if I don't cancel the dial up that I don't want I'll be charged for it.

The funniest part was when I told one of the people to get a frikkin truck with a satelite dish on it over here until I get my DSL working.

It's too bad when you screw up my situation. They are gunna be called every day and everyone is going to know my situation and how the company they work for won't do anything to help.
I'm gunna try to get the human resources dept and represent people that work there (I'll write their names down as I call them)and resign for them. If they question my actions I'll just have them explain their actions.
By the time I'm done with them they'll have a banner up with my phone number telling people to run for their lives if they see it come up.

Verizon sucks, I've had tons of problems with them! They have no customer service in my opinion. Good luck engfant.

I find with big companys like that, customer service goes right out the window. So what you left their company, 20 more people just signed up.

Sounds like a typical reaction I got from the "Big Phone Company". We had problems with mail for a couple weeks. We didn't get certain bills (gas, phone and a few others). My wife only caught most because she was (back then) tracking all our bills in a spreadsheet. She overlooked the phone. Anyway, they send the next month's bill saying, "Just pay the two month's amount on June 15th" (normal billing date). We get another one saying we're past due and to pay on June 10th". We get both of these on June 9th when we return from a 2 week vacation. The phone is ringing at 6pm as we get out of the cars (we have a phone in the garage). The lady says, "We're disconnecting you tomorrow". I said "what??", we have a due date in a week.

Anyway, I called their billing the next day and they admitted they've been complaining to management too for quite some time about how they notify. It confuses you into thinking you can just pay the next normal cycle (which we did with credit card, gas, etc). I thought, if even their staff thinks it screwed up and they don't care enough to fix it....then they don't care about my business.

Anyway, the moment cable offered phone service, I canceled. They tried getting me back twice but when I explained how crappy they treated me for ONE missed payment after 5 years of never being late, the sales people stopped trying.
