I thought some of this was really interesting (especially Swedaguy's input). The name-calling part was silly, but I've seen a lot worse on this board. So, how come the postings disappeared???

It was a thread that was going the wrong way and had a bunch of touchy subjects.

Just for the record I am the one who got it closed. Engfants comments were way out of line and it was all because he did not have a logical argument. People who resort to name calling and character assisination cannot debate their point so they resort to other tactics. LAME.

Sizzles, Thanks for the clarification. I was a little confused at first with the "touchy" explanation, since I thought that was part of the point of this category of posting (plus real life is pretty "touchy"!). But I agree with you and agreed with the comments I read that you posted on the thread. Thanks again.

Debate is great and hey we can argue all day long and still respect one anothers opinions. When you start allowing someone who has Hitler photos on his website and attempts to say Bush is just as bad you need to draw the line. He is an extremist. Thank God not all of you Democrats think like that. And remember folks - at the end of the day we are all AMERICANS!
