Who would like to be a mod?? - Page 2

It is not the list so much as it is indicating that you are promoting individuals. I think that if Theresa, or whomever, decides on who they want as mods, that person has the right to refuse. I don't think it should be up to anyone to say, brag, or otherwise spout off that they want to be a mod. I asked once about a mod position and was given the requirements. I personally think that that is what should be the deciding factors.

While I'm sure she is a great business women, I do have to take note of that statement. She has only been a member here since April 2004. I think I was trying to make that point earlier. Membership dates don't mean much. If you post, that means you are involved.

I'm a life member of the VFW, but haven't been involved with them in 5 years. Am I still considered to be more qualified thanthe person who joined 3 years ago and makes every meeting? See the correlation?

I agree with Ramcat your life of membership does not matter, but passion does. If you have worked somewhere for 20 years and have put your time in...does that mean you should get promoted? What if you have been working at the same place for 20 years, and you never learned anything or kept up with the industry...does that make you better than someone who has been working at the same company, but has only been working there for 5 years? What if the newer employee who has only worked there for 5 years...lives, eats, breathes, and tries to learn everything about his or her business, how long will it take for the 5 year person to match the 20 year person who has not tried or learned anything for the past at least 20 years?
