did you get an actual birthday present when you were growing up that was wrapped in birthday paper or did you get "jipped" as my sister says? (her BD is on dec 15th)

My partner's birthday is the 26th, and we always make sure to celebrate the occasion seperately from the family Christmas...otherwise it isn't fair...

Though sometimes it's hard to find birthday wrapping paper in December...I can't imagine why...
