I also tried Excel Telecommunications. Now this is funny...I did presentations to convince people to change their long distance service. I received a percentage of every long distance phone call made. Well, lets just say....my friends and family all used their cell phones so they don't have to pay long distance.!! :0)

I'm embarrassed to write this .... I tried "stuffing envelopes at home". Don't do that either. I thought I could stuff them at the front desk and make 1000's weekly. I am THE QUEEN OF SCAMMED!!!

ROTFLOL - Two years later, I'm sticking with tanning customers, making jewelry and minding my business. :0) This works!!

Are you being scammed..... or just making bad choices?

These companies exist simply because they have a never ending flood of people that need money.....

If you are a good typist - - you could use your 'down time' doing medical transcription ..... ****, Most of us could take a part time job away from the salon in the slow season if necessary.

I think the blame should not be placed soley on the companies you are talking too....

The experience is worth the small price paid. My cousin went through Equinox thinking these expensive YET heathy alternatives to everyday products are gunna make him millions. I think they meant to say OWE millions.

I don't know if it's being scammed or not. I DO know there is no such thing as a GET RICH QUICK deal because I've tried them all. A high salary comes with lots of hours, and dedication. No question. I'm sure there are many people who, at one point, have wondered if those "stuffing envelopes" ads work.

You have to admit, the "excel" story is kinda funny.

I had a client that brought in a variety of Home Interiors Candles to sell at my store.

She was asking for $5.00 a piece (except for one that all the proceeds went to Habitat for Humanity)....

In under a month we had sold just under 90 candles for her.... no sales gimmick, no pushing---- they were there, they smelled em and threw money at me....

I'd personally go with candles.

I had a guy bring in candles and a tin metal display. Haven't heard from him in over a year.

I my goodness I have not seen you in ages. I thought you were gone floating around on another site somewhere. Its good to see you again.

We sell candles for our team fundraising and the guy gives a great return and we always do well.
I LOVE CANDLES they always do great and we make good money.
Scotts candles are so awsome that people from sport season to sport season wait on them to come back around.
I love his candles we sell them for $15 and keep 7 for ourselves. If you want to call him he will send you scent samples, however the samples are not as good as the candle itself. 817-428-3795 http://www.candlesbyscott.com
I have a big 2 story haouse and when someone comes in they always comment on the scent even if I am burning them upstairs they are awsome.
