Rep Power: 107 | Why I'm not a pit bull fan: You don't pick up the newspaper and read "Child mauled by Scottish Terrier!" "Beagle Rips Child to Pieces!" That's why. P.S. Shower with the dog? Should have kept that a secret. They don't go outside? Where do they go? |

Rep Power: 23 | Customers have called to ASK if Chance, the boxer, will be coming to work because THEY bought him a a new toy. Go figure! My Silky Terrier has won many blue ribbons including Best in Show. He's tooooo stuck up for people but loves the salon. Under supervision, I say bring your pets to work. It's called socializing. Get them outta the house. A couple of hours here and there is fine with me. _________________ [ This Message was edited by: K-tina on 2004-10-06 09:30 ] |

Rep Power: 23 | Hey!!! I don't like anyone that doesn't like dogs.... so now Tara and I are even ..... but it all depends on the layout of the salon and the manners of the dog.... I have a Bassett Hound(Smudgy McGoo) that had a fan club in our building..... never had a client complain or not just love him up!!! my salon was 2 suites with the back suite with the beds.... he was not allowed back there and he behaved ~ When I got my puppy (Sassy) at 5 weeks old.... SHE GREW UP at the salon... partially because Smudgy was jelouse and partially because my husband was super pi*ss*ed I got another dog..... April and May Sassy was at the salon with me every day.... Clients and employees of other businesses would come just to play with and walk her ---- When I left that building ~ the grief these people felt about the dogs not coming anymore was vast ~ You cannot help but smile at a Bassett Hound ~ they are sooooooo goofy .... and WHO could not LOVE a puppy???? if I could charge for all the smiles my family members with four legs have brought to that corner of St. Paul ~ I'd be a freeken millionaire..... Dogs are NOT filthy - - - unless their owners are. I am OCD about cleanliness but also understand that what's under that nail you have in your mouth is a galaxy of bacteria and a dogs is NOT.... Don't Diss the Dogs. |
