Re: Dogs in Tanning Salon?

Years ago I tanned in a tanning salon where there were fish tanks and parakeets and McCaws in the lobby and rooms. Bird **** and seeds flying everywhere. As cute as the birds were, it was a sanitary issue!

Re: Dogs in Tanning Salon?

I agree...it depends on the bird. I have very well behave lovely young lady..

The owner can train a bird to be neater..and even potty train it to go in a certian spot. not all over.

I am luck that she is a good girl... some birds are stubbborn.
I personally would never keep a bird in a salon anyway.

These kind of birds are very social and like attention. They even like to sleep in your bed room. The long nights of no one around them will cause them to go into a depression and they will act out and throw their seeds, pluck their pretty feathers etc...

Re: Dogs in Tanning Salon?

What was cute about it, the McCaw in the lobby would talk. The woman trained it to say "welcome to tanning"

Re: Dogs in Tanning Salon?

I have a Macaw and he is not very nice. I can't even imagine him in the salon. He would scare the bejeeebus out of someone just dozing off if he let out a scream.
