I know I stated it was my last post and it really is.

However I feel inclined to Reply to a few nitwits on there Ignorance on my Last post.

After reviewing more of keysers posts, I think that this may be a cry for help! I'm worried here, seriously, does anyone know how to contact keyser by phone? I think keysers posts have been a form of suicide note........?

My dear friend That is the farthest from the truth at all.

If anything I am sitting in a great positions in my market I have all the Key locations and More A+ spots being signed as we speak I do not take Franchise tanning to heart as You might think ????????

However since a couple of folks made some remarks I am going to clear the air for once and for all.

Thanks to sheila pm and telling me that YOU ALL Need to hear ME One last time ........

Even thu I started Out Not liking Her at all I actually do now.

6 years ago I told Jim peek from Ultrasun whom by the way I spoke to today and he is doing much better He really is a great guy.

I told him and His staff at the time in a suite at the mgm in Vegas that the first guys to bring 20- 50 million to the table in tanning would Win and I also told him that tanning in the next few years Will be all BIG BEDS PERIOD.He looked at me and said .COM It sounds pretty crazy to me but You might just be right someday.

That was 6 years ago ?????????

2 years ago I sat in a meeting in Nashville with the biggest names in Tanning period from Huge big time owners to Huge big time manufactures and THE SAME THING WAS TOLD TO US ALL ??????????

That Big tanning is here and The future of big beds as entry level beds are Not to far away.

That was then

Present time

Troy cooper whom I do not know but Give huge credit to is doing THAT TODAY AS WE SPEAK.

Palm beach tanning now has over 80 Locations all big stores With lots of beds and Deep discount tanning across the board.

No one in tanning HAS EVER Moved with such lighting speed and ITS scary FOR ALL OF US.

The worst part thu is this

Is that there are another 100 blockbuster video guys waiting to see how they do this next year coming up and if they Hit there Target Goal of revenue that is

600 More stores will be built in less then 24 months with another 400 to follow within 2 years later that is

1000 20 bed locations across the usa

A question for some of You Really smart owners on here

How much of that money do You think is going to the Kitty for advertising ???????

On a national level

Keep in mind these are the same guys who started with less then 20 corporate owned Video stores and within 10 years put Every MOM AND POP PLAYER OUT OF BUSINESS.

That is a fact.

They are not planet beach they are not hollywood tans and they are not executive tans .....These guys Have REAL MONEY Not I am a mom and pop looking for a store or 2 to buy into and make a living Not even close my friends.

This is just 1 fanchise team........

Now lets talk about the Hollywood Video guys whom are sitting back and watching this go on as there profits go down on video also.

They are ON deck Next I know this for a 100% fact.

THATS 2 franchises to think about.

Now lets talk about the Group of guys that No one knows about as of yet that are coming out of a european country which I will not disclose as if I did I would be Out of the loop forever.

They are in the midst now of buying up an entire factory Just so they can get there stores and beds here in the USA in the next 24 months or less,AS that is expected launch date.

They think the USA market is very soft with tanning and that it can absorb another 1500 locations across the map.

Big beds for cheap prices and THEY OWN THE FACTORY

AM I LYING ????????????

Thats 3 major players with more money then all of us put toghter WE havnet even spoke of regional guys yet.

The regions

East coast
Mid west
west coast

Just putting it simple for all of Us to understand if I left out your area Sorry :}}}}}

AT least 15 major players with 12 stores or more All looking to get to 30 to 50 stores in the next 2 years or less

Same as the mid and west coast regions

WE do you think WE are going to DO Lay down and let Big tanning take us All.

Some will be bought out because of such great real estate holdings others will Intertwine with other Major players as A Big group of stores Basically for branding purposes and Not losing maket share in their areas.

Others will be rengades such as myself whom do not feel the way of passage is thru a Roll up ???????????

SO over the next 36 months or less You will have 3 HUGE franhcise tanning companies

Huge regional coverage

And we are all fighting for the same customers ???????????

Big stores Big beds CHEAP PRICING and most important Which most of You do not get A+ LOCATIONS PRIME REAL ESTATE

Blockbuster did it
Hollywood video did it
Walmart did it
Home depot did it
Lowes is doing it right now
Kohls is doing it right now
Best buy has done it
Mcdonalds Has been doing for way too long
Burger king has done it
taco bell has done it
cosco is doing it right now
Major car dealerships are in the Process of doing it right now

Tanning is Next PERIOD Its happening Right now and You do not even realize it

How ironic is that

All the store owners that said it wouldnt happen to them from the above Industries where are they AT {Exception SITDOWN food}

THEY ARE 95 % GONE FOREVER

Tanning Is next

Mom and Pop tanning
Will surrive Less then 5 % of market share Maybe if Your lucky

I think less in due time unless of course You are in a rural market place which there is a lot of those markets I admitt that, But NOT enough to go around.

You might be suprised by the answer depending on How well he knows You ???????

The info is interesting and entertaining, but what the **** are you trying to tell us Nostidamous? (spelling) Why? Are you threatening us? Are you warning us but with no solution ? What the **** is your point? Are there weapons of mass tanning that we should know about? Why warn us of the pending doom if you have no advice to offer on how to defend ourselves? I could also start a forum on the pending doom of the lotion market. Scream it from all sides, but unless there is a point why bother?
If it will stop your blithering, I agree we all all doomed, "ma and pop" businesses of all kinds are doomed! So****** Tanned will be found and brought to justice! I just don't get you point! P.S. Good to see you have not done yourself in over this!

Hey Keyser, don't go away! For those of us that go to every trade show and dare go behind those closed doors I can vouch for you what you say is being said all over the place. What ever happens or does not happen you deserve to say it and believe it, we then can believe it, challenge it, or ignore it! Stay around and play you make it worthwhile.

Big business will eventually have some effect. Maybe they will take allot of us out. But that’s just business... survival of the fittest. Listen if we feared failure we would not Evan open up a business. The delicate balance of risk and reward are always being challenged by a constant array of variables that we deal with every day... do you think Henry Ford was worried that other people were making cars... no he took a chance... changed the rules. You forgot one...
It has been happening with the oil companies as well for the last 3 years or so. That roll up, so to speak, will be complete before 2006.
