Operation Gratitude... help our soldiers!

Hey everyone! I wanted to alert you all to the greatest idea I have heard in a while... my salon will be collecting money to send to Operation Gratitude, as will my 4-H kids... check out the website at www.opgratitude.com

This program sends care packages to our troops overseas... many of whom get very little mail or correspondence from home... PLEASE check out the website.. each of these care packages costs about $25 to send in postage, and you can donate via credit card on the site, or mail a check to Operation Gratitude.. or write personal encouragement and thank you letters... THis is a very big deal to me, and I was wonderfing what you all thought of having your salons collect money for it, or tellin gyour customers that a couple of dollars from their purchases will go towards this or something like it.... let me know!

we have a recruiting office located 3 doors down from us and always give them specials and days of relaxing. theese macho guys really appreciate the effort and look forward to coming into a salon( not what they're used to). any extra effort made for our strong courageous fighters is worth it!

It is refreshing to see all the support for the military these days...when I was in the Army we got no respect..doing the same job. Good to see the country make the change!
