Michael Jackson BadMouths Lotion Industry - tanTALK

DID anybody here him when the british interviewer asked Michael about his skin....

Jackson Badmouthed TANNERS, saying that we want to be something that we are not, oh, and HE DOESN'T?????? lol

He also talked about the lotion industry, in a negative way, did anybody catch this???

Um, Im thinking no one listened or if they did no one will value his opinion (especially on trying to be something we are not..)

Actually Melty, i didn't take it that way at all.... the British Interviewer questioned Michael about why he wanted to change his skin color from Black to white, and Michael responded with "their are people that stay in the sun to get darker, no one says n e thing to them" and you know what he is completely right! all of us tanners love looking tan, and most of us aren't naturally near as dark as we are when we tan, therefore he is right, we are trying to look like something we NATURALLY don't look like and no one makes a big deal about it, but the second someone wants to look whiter, as Michael does, its a huge deal, its not right.... i love the way i look tan opposed to my natural whiter color... Jackson wasn't dissin on us he was just stating a true point

I got caught up in the moment when writing that post...
I think all I wanted to say was that he talked negatively about the lotion industry....

Even though Michael had a point about us wanting to be darker, the fact is that we naturally tan. Depending on our natural skin types, if we get in the sun it naturally makes us darker(happens to everyone). However, for him or any other naturally dark person, they have to use chemicals or other "unnatural" means to lighten their color.
