Injured myself - tanTALK

I was changing out lamps and acrylics yesterday and have hurt my shoulder pretty bad. It is hard for me to hold my arm down to even type.

I always do the task by myself much better than having someone help me, BUT this is the last time.

It really really is messed up this time. Hurts all the way down my arm. I have had a Icy/Hot patch on it since last night. Let hot water beat on it in the shower for about 30 mins this morning and put a fresh patch on.

Dang it hurts to get old and outta shape.

Oh No, that's awful! Has anything like this ever happened before? What do you think happened? Did you twist it the wrong way? These tanning beds are wonderful, but a really pain (literally)to maintain.

I injured my shoulder several years ago in an auto accident. Seems the last couple of years it has caught up with me. I can sleep the wrong way and it will flare up. But doing those acrylics always messes me up for a day or two. This time seems much worse though.

I will give it a couple of days and then go to the doc if it isn't better.

Be Careful Mitzi....
I injured my back about two years in a car accident and sometimes run into the same problem...if I bend over the wrong way while cleaning the bed...I am shot for the rest of the day!! Grrr....
It really sucks having such horrible back pains at such a young age...

Yes, it sucks to have problems like this at any age, let alone as young as you are.

I took 3 naproxins earlier and it eased the pain pretty well. I think I will take a couple more in a few...

I sympathize with your shoulder. I had rotator cuff surgery a few years ago. I finally had to give up doing nails because I tore it up too many times. I changed a couple of beds last week too and mine ached for a couple of days. Last year the doc wouldn't let me clean beds or do nails for 6 weeks because it would not heal. I ended up in physical Therapy for 2 months.

Yep, getting old sucks!
