Rep Power: 27 | Wow, here we are in 2003! 2002 was a very trying year for my salon. Hoping 2003 will be lots better! I personally was very stretched in 02. Seems everytime I turned around I was off to some place. I think this year I am going to slow down and take more time in my salon. Right now I do have a trip planned in May. Going with grandson to D.C. on his school trip. (anyone wannna send me a couple hundred valiums) Can't imagine what a bus load of kids is gonna do to me?!!!! Not that I don't like kids, but I have never had any of my own and sometimes my nerves are very short. I guess I will forego the Vegas trip this year. Nashville is still up in the air, but Cancun or Dominican Republic is a must. The December trip is my VACATION! Only wish they could have it when the holidays are finished. OOPS, I kinda got off track as to what I was really gonna post on this topic. Oh well, thanks for letting me ramble. Seems I do that a lot these days HAPPY 2003 TO ALL! |

Rep Power: 23 | Happy New Year Everyone!! I can't believe it will be my 1 year anniversary on the 4th. I have learned a great deal about owning and running a salon thanks to everyone here at tan talk. I know I haven't been in here much but I will try to get back on track and visit daily. |

Rep Power: 24 | This year was a different sort of a year also for us. Teez I can't believe it's one year already for you..WOW...... happy anniversary to you .... How do you feel being a year old? Mitzi and I have talked about this year a lot.. Yu-Can Tan-..... it's all about the economy now days I think. I have heard more owners of not just our type of business' but other business' saying people are more sue happy these days..... I read where staff members are getting "burnt" in some locations and claiming to be harmed.......... I even had an employee claim she got a "bad Shock" from one of the machines early last year ....which cost me $$$$$ to be done with that crap.. No the winds of change are upon us as an industry...as a nation......as business owners........... Lets all keep our heads up and stay sharp this new year. C |
