Detox

Okay I said I was going to detox when I got back from cancun. Yesterday I broke down and had a few ccls.

I am on my last pack of cigs. Going on the patch and gonna leave the beers alone for a while so I can detox from the smokes and alcohol. Wish me luck.

Just had my last smoke. Time to clean my mouth and put the patch on. I don't know if I should cry or jump for joy, but here I go........

Watch for my posts people, I may get a little out of hand the next few days

Well I put the patch on before bed last night. Usually I wake up during to night and grab a smoke on the way to the bathroom (i know, way to much info) But this didh't happen last night. I did wake up about 4am and have been awake since. (must be that party life in cancun). But I have not had a craving for a smoke at all. I just don't know what to do with myself! I think I will stock up on some straws to chew on. No calories. I am not going to gain the weight back that I have already lost. And after Christmas I am joining the health center and lose more pound and become a hard body

I know it is early, but I think this will be an okay day.

Mitzi,

You can do it! It's a really hard thing to do but I promise you will feel a TON better just in 3 or 4 days. More energy, no coughing, food taste good and you won't smell like smoke! It will be alot easier to get that hard body if you don't have to have a smoke break in between sit ups! TRUST ME! Good Luck and I'm pulling for ya!

Thanks for the support folks. So far so good. I only had one strong urge about 3 hours ago. Called my husband for a minute. Then I got out of the office. Seems I have a cig. burning everytime I am doing bookkeeping. Feel much better after getting out of there. I am feeling very good about this so far.

36 hours and still smokeless. In the 33 years I have smoked I don't think I have ever went this long without a smoke.

Right now I am having a craving, so I gotta go walk it off.,

Hang in there Mitzi, just think how nice that new truck is going to smell with no cigs in it...hmmm...new leather...reminds of a...oh never mind it's sort of off topic...hehe
