I put some arthritis pain relief on my husbands elbow and didn't wash my hands. Next think I know my lips are on fire! Wow! I can't get it off. Hopefully it will go away soon. Whew! Talk about Hot Lips

I wish i would have taken a pic, but now, it was PAT to the rescue, my friend used the LOREAL Open dye...and it STILL is a lil funky, but I can liv with it for now...

I mean, really, has anybody even saw the box for the bleach blonding kit, the dudes hair is a perfect blond color, and he originally has DARK hair...

We did everything the box told us to do, and I wound up with this "out of this world color"...i mean, this color or tint or whatever, its not Even a color, must have mutated...

it was scary...

Learned a Do NOT the hard way... Do not allow tanners to touch my baby without asking "Did you use Tingle lotion" first....

Good lord - for future reference kiddies - Hair Color 101:

YOU CANNOT LIFT COLOR WITH COLOR!

Meaning, if the color you are trying to go is lighter than the color on your head, you HAVE to use bleach first. If you don't, you will end up with - tada! - PEACH HAIR! Hair color will not lift the existing color off your hair!

*covers eyes* Did you have peach hair Melty?

Hair Color 201: Don't bleach over bleach. Let me know when you get to that point and I'll tell you what to do.

This is the WHOLE dilema...

I know about the lighter/darker hair color and the reaction to hair dye.

The product that we used on my hair was FERIA's Bleach Blonding, which is SUPPOSED to STRIP the color...

What went wrong???

We left it on for what it said....

As far as I know, you cannot just go to the store and buy bleach for your hair. You have to go to a beauty supply. What does the box actually say on it?
