Update on my stepdad - tanTALK

He is doing well. They moved him to Rehab last week. Today he walked 25 ft. by himself with a one handed walker. Very good news. He was so proud and encouraged. He has agreed to stay in Rehab at least two more weeks.
He also squeezed my hand today which he couldn't do a few days ago.

I'm so glad to hear that he is doing better Mitzi.... but I bring him up in my prayers again tonight just because!!!!

Mitzi-I am glad to hear that there is improvement in your stepdad's condition.
Its a long road ahead, but...Stay strong!

Like I have said many times before, I am bless with four great parents. Not many kids from a split home get to grow up with the four parents sitting at Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner together

I took Ed some new light weight sweats to work in today. He was so pleased. And Mom took him 2 pair as well. Tomorrow he has to dress himself for the first time. He is really dreading the pants part. But he will make it, I know he will.

Hubby, hubbys x and me all get along really good....but I have been told over and over that this is not NORMAL.
My stepson doesn't realize yet how fortunate he is to take mom by one hand and stepmom by the other and go running around all day!!!!

Thanks for the update. I am glad things are progressing for him. You love and support have to help him and your mom. Take care of you, too. It begins to wear on you when you are caring for someone and doing all your normal daily stuff.
