We all have them. I have a few.

I HATE when people can't count change back properly. I prefer them to count it back to me the 'old' way, but I understand that kids today have probably never been taught that little skill.

But when you have a computer to tell you the exact change???

I just got home from running an errand. My bill was 18.07. I gave the kid 20.27. He stands there and argues with me. Said I needed to give him a nickel. I said I gave you a quarter. He says, don't you have a nickel? I say NO, if I did I wouldn't have given you a quarter. So he tries to hand me back my 27 cents. I finally told him, put it into your computer and see what it says. WALA... The computer told him to give me 2.20 back. But he NEVER got why I gave him 27 cents!!! ARRGGGHH

Oh, I know exactly what you mean!!!

Why can't people understand that it is much much easier to give back the change first and then the bills????

Oh this makes me mad too.

I make my girls count the change backwards to the customer. I haven't ever shown them the feature in the tanning software that you can enter the amount of money given. (i am sure they have figured it out, but i have never seen them use it)

I had on girls a couple of years ago that could not count at all. And she graduated from highschool

They are not taught this in school anymore..
Some can't tell time with out a digital clock.. they don't know what 10:45 means... they can't tell time on a regular clock!!!!

If it's a quarter after 7, does that mean it's 7:25?

If you order a quarter pounder, how much does it weigh (before cooking)?

I really think they should know how to count back change too......but they just don't!!!! So rather than try to teach them one more thing for them to make mistakes doing, I am glad that the computer tells them EXACTLY how much to give back. I'd rather spend more time teaching lotions and UV.

The change thing is annoying but I think my biggest peeve is people who don't know how to do a 4-way stop.
Ergh! I have a rule that if no one moves, it is my turn. Then you always have the old fart who wants to be nice and wave everyone on.

Ok.. heres one I have..
While having a conversation with my teenage daughter she keeps saying over and over and over through-out the conversation..
Ya know.. Ya.. know.. Ya know..
She says Ya Know about 47 times with-in 3 minutes..
Ya know..

I here you Chris....I have a really bad habit of starting every sentence with "ya but".....seems like I have an arguement for everything!!!! I try to break the habit but I still do it alot.

I tend to use the word "like" about 5 times in every sentence or whatever thats one of my favorites too ... Im trying to work on it though......
