The thread on Love it or Shove it got me to wondering if we have any bookworms on this site?

I used to be until I started having kids, now I'm just a wanna be bookworm. Anyone else here love to read? Whay type of books? What are your favorites?

I am a bookworm... big time! I go to the library about once a week and take out 8-10 books each visit.

I like biographies, fiction, mystery, pretty much anything. I absolutely love Bridget Jones' Diary and am on the quest to find another book as original and funny. (Confessions of a Shopaholic was as close as I've come thus far) When I'm really desperate, I'll choose an Oprah's Book Club selection which is usually guaranteed to make me want to kill myself by the end of it.

I am always looking for suggestions if anyone's read anything really good lately. The last great book I read was "Drowning Ruth." I was totally engrossed in that book up until the last page.

Read????? Who has time for that????? Between days in the salon and all of my "quality" internet time, I have little time left for my family and sleep.

I'm a total Bridget Jones type book addict. I keep meaning to make a list of ones I've read but I sell them on eBay shortly after I read them (most of them anyway), so it's hard to keep track.

I just re-read False Memory. What a freaky concept!!! There's got to be something wrong with a guy who could think up such a plot!

I haven't read Stolen Lives but I do remember the media thing about it last year or whenever the book came out. I had totally forgotten about it.

Um, yes...

Eight dictionaries, 89 cookbooks, my old Dr. Seuss set, history, philosophy, psychology, religious history, writer reference guides, and anything that helps me figure out what the heck makes men tick.

NJ...um, where do you find time like that? I really used to read like that before children. My husband and I's first Christmas together he went to my mother and asked what I would want...she told him books. He thought she was crazy but followed her advise. I still loved that Christmas. He got me the whole set (so far) of Stephen Kings Dark Tower series. Love those books.

I'm a huge Stphen King freak
