is consuming my newly-free days....

I don't play video games. Ever. Never. Ever. I've watched my sister's boyfriend play this game for like 2 weeks and I decided one day that I could do it....

well, on the 1st day of no school, I thought I had cataracts. Everything had this white frostiness to it..... Yesterday played just a bit and I've spent the better part of tonight with the fabulous game. I DON'T DO THIS STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am ready to snap this stupid CD in half so I can get on with my books and lotions at the beach.... none of this staying inside shooting Nazis stuff.

today's activity was assembling a nightstand and a dresser. I worked in retail for 5 years and have more clothes than I know what to do with. (and a nasty little habit of buying more and more and more) I'm always being made fun of for being "messy" and I get so upset about that. I fold all of my clothes. They are all in order. They just don't all fit in my closet. If you ask me to find anything, I can do it in about 5 seconds.... Anyway, I had a Road-to-Damascus epiphany that what I need is more storage space. (I also needed a stand to put a tank of class critters on for the summer hence the nightstand) I went out and bought this stuff, had the guys who work there haul it to my truck, and then had my sister's boyfriend haul it up to my bedroom where it's been sitting for about a week.

In the interest of preserving my 20/20 vision, I refused to turn on Medal of Honor and instead decided that today was the day that I would assemble this stuff...

yep, my vision is fine but my sanity is gone and I have a huge bruise on the palm of my hand b/c how am I, being a girl, supposed to know that you should use a drill instead of a screwdriver? I did go postal at one point when I discovered that I had just screwed in 8 drawer-metal-things in backwards and had to redo the whole thing.

Tomorrow I am going to the beach, ozone warning or not. That is something that I am GOOD at. hehehe Thank God I can earn a living using my brain and fabulous personality because my carpentry skills stink.

sorry for being so verbose but I am bored and need to vent.

Glad to see that you got over the "game thing" before it became an addiction, I thought maybe we'd loose you to some other video game board!!!
Sometimes it takes only a few minutes of exploring "someone elses career" to realize how much we love our own!!!! Everytime I do laundry or dishes, I realize I am not cut out for a dry cleaners or resturaunt.

nope you guys are stuck with me. like I said, I don't play video games. (except this one hehehe) They keep trying to get me to try golf, hockey, football, etc. but I'm just not into it. Once I beat Medal of Honor, I'll hang up the Playstation hat.

Ah, another victim of the infamous Medal of Honor vortex, eh? Yes, I, too, have felt the sting of the dragon's tail. Fortunately, I was able to finish the entire game in just a few days - a lot of late nights and 2-litres of Pepsi, let me tell you.

Then, I decided to rent Medal of Honor 2, which seemed even more intriguing. Instead of being Jimmy Patterson, you are a member of the French resistance. It was great, but I never did get it finished before it was time to return it.

Now, my friend has a PS2 and he recently purchased Grand Theft Auto III. Now there's a f****** awesome game! The whole object of it is to commit crimes. Last night, I carjacked a tank and went on a one-man terror spree across the city. It took more than 50 police officers, the National Guard and three other tanks to finally stop me. LOL Video games can be so addictive.

I love grand theft auto 3 ! I bought this game for my brother when it came out a couple of months ago and I think I have played it more than he has.

If only I could steal peoples cars in real life and get away with it ... lol
Espically the gangster pimp cars.

The pimp cars are okay, but I prefer to carjack the tank - I can do more damage with it! LOL

oh God, there's another one??? why did you have to tell me that?!?!? Rob took the memory card over to his friend's house last night and forgot it there, so no video games for me today.

I'm all caffiened up with nothing to do. I've already done 5 miles on the treadmill... next I'm hopping on my bike and racing around town for a few hours.

I need a summer job.

Yup. Medal of Honor II takes place in Nazi-ocuppied France. It's quite fun. If you liked the original, then you should enjoy the sequel. To complicate your dilemma even further, I also hear they've come out with an even better version for the PC.
