what did you say olive oil and iodine - tanTALK

ok this is new to me, one of my customer brings her own mixture of olive oil and iodine for her face, I told her she better not get that on the beds. I tries to sell her the ja face oild but she swears by it.
Is she cooking her face or tanning it?
has anyone used this mixture?

That thick oil is probably fryin her...lol....and I don't think that oil of that consistency is very good for the facial skin???

My salon made me my own little bottle of lotion with 3 different types of high tingle lotions baby oil and iodine. It works good but you have to go in the stand up bed when you use this and im lazy and like to lay down.

I'm sorry... but if one of my clients came in with any kind of home-made mixture, I wouldn't let them use it in any of our units... stand-up or otherwise.

Me neither, I can't believe a salon would actually give you something to tan with that has iodine in it! Anyone coming in with anything other than a indoor tanning lotion sold at our salon can leave the lotion at the door because it is not permitted!

iodine stains your skin how would you know if you tanned well with a red iodine face?

I bet it stains the acrylics to.
The olive oil will block thier pores and they will have a pimple face.
What a dummy?
Maybe they should try brown shoe polish !
