I just posted a post stating is Bruce full of crap or not and now I can't look and see peoples opinion of my post. It basically stated that someone needs to either call the 17 year old out as being a liar about being naked or come up with some way to legitimize to me and the masses why a saoln owner would need naked picures of his staff to promote his tanning business. A bathing suit is one thing and I have seen those all over different salon's web sites, but with the skimpiness of today's bikinis why would bruce need anything more revealing of his 17 year old worker to promote his salon?

you voice an opinion you get banned, trust me I know, I just got banned from suntanning.com, but who really cares this is the only site you need for any real information. The people on this site are awsome.

Sgt,

You'll have to excuse us if you don't see anyone jumping to assist you on this board. While we welcome your input on topics surrounding the tanning industry, we are concerned with the tone of posts such as this. This board is Tantalk.com, owned, run and managed by Michael Chunn. We are not in any way, shape or form associated with Bruce and Tantoday.com. They are a separate entity... one with their own rules, guidelines and general policies concerning posting, topics and member behavior. While both boards are about the Indoor Tanning industry, they are quite different in nature. I encourage you to personally contact Bruce or one of his moderators in private through e-mail or our Private Message feature (many are registered here) in order to resolve any difficulties you may be having.

In light of recent events we are not wishing to get into a debate about who did what to whom concerning Bruce and his legal difficulties. This is for the proper elected authorities (and/or jury) to decide... not us. We wish to remain as impartial and non-judgemental as we possibly can. If you care to discuss this topic in greater detail please refer to Suntanning.com instead.

Thank you.

Bronze your are an idiot if you don't think people go back and forth between all 3 websites all day long so that if one was banned from one website the best way to find out why would be to ask his/her online tanning community why this happens? Bronze don't gimme that tow the line bull about how you don't want to get involved. I am not saying someone is guilty or not of anything I an only asking questions that everyone should be asking. It just doesn't make sense to be taking nude photos of your employees for promotional items for your salon so if that wasn't what bruce was doing then all he had to do is say so. I was just asking and saying that it didn't make sense to me and for that I get banned when I have been a promoter of all the websites with my posts. And with asking me to go elsewhere are you going to ban my free speech to??

Your post was not edited, deleted or locked. No one here has hampered your right to free speach. I did not indicate that we do not go between the boards... some do, but not all. That is a generalization to imply that we all do. We all do not. Therefore it would be redundant for all three sites to be covering and rehashing the same topics over and over. All three sites are different and a good friend once pointed out that it wouldn't be beneficial to homogonize the three sites to have them be the same.

Your opinion of me is irrelevant. However, dragging a subject onto a site that does not wish to cause any more harm to any of the parties involved is relevant. You are welcome to post your thoughts and concerns within the tanning industry. Your input is appreciated. But, please be aware that your potentially inflammatory comments will not be embraced here. It sounds like they were not embraced elsewhere already.

BRONZE , I am a salon owner and I think that this topic is very relevant to all salon owners. If we do not discuss and learn from the mistakes of others than what are we here to talk about. Yes I was banned from tantoday so was micheal chunn what's your point? My point is that you shouldn't be banned from anywhere just fo stating your opinion. Don't you agree?

We have not ever banned anyone from participating here. That is why I encouraged you to contact either Bruce or one of his moderators by e-mail or PM. I cannot speak for another board's policy regarding the banning of members who post their viewpoints. I believe in the past when one of our member's actions may have warranted banning, they were contacted privately and asked to cease their actions or they could be banned. In each instance the behavior changed and no one was banned.

I see that you have started the topic in the Salon Owner's forum. I do not have access to that forum, however... that is the appropriate forum for such a discussion that would involved salon owners. A situation like this should be discussed to avoid future happenings. But it should be handled delicately and out of public view. Our concern is how this will ultimately impact our industry. How we respond publicly will be scrutinized by the very media hounds who made such a circus out of this in press in Pittsburg in the first place.

Well no one contacted me and I am easy to find. Bruce has my home number. I just can't believe after saying how open-minded we all are and saying that anything is fair topic that I get banned with no warning or private message to cease or anything just banned.

In that sense, I agree with you. In my opinion it isn't right to just ban someone without notice. But that is only my meager opinion. And on Tantoday I have no authority or input of any measure, so I stay here on Tantalk. Our policy is vastly different and long before we consider banning, we contact the individual. I am sorry you encountered difficulties. Perhaps you should consider the source?

can anyone post on tantoday for me and ask why I was banned and can't log in to that site. I would ask but I can't get into any part of it to ask.
