Moderators - tanTALK

Just wondering...what is the role of a moderator and how do you become one? I think a lot of Tan Talkers are wondering this. Also, where are our moderators? They don't seem to be posting as much anymore: Becky, Ginger, Kathi, Nik, NO TAN LINES? Where is everyone???

I have wondered the same thing, just never took the time to post the question. Don't take this as I think the site is lacking in anyway because I think it is a wonderful site that is marvously managed!!!! Just an inquiring mind.

We mods, are suppose to keep topics going, edit fowl language and answer questions. I think we are missing some as of late. I have been busy with my software in the salon and haven't posted much lately. I do check in everyday, but some days I haven't the time to do a lot of posting.
If you ever have a question or feel you need to speak with a moderater, email them or send a private mess. Sometimes we all get busy with other projects. Esp. since the season is picking up early for us.

Mitzi, I was not criticizing at all! I think you all are doing a great job, I just wondered what the "official" duties were and where everyone was. Hope you didn't take it the wrong way. Keep up the good work!

Mitzi, I just wanted to make it clear that's all. I think a lot of people had the question on their minds, they just wouldn't ask. I know what you mean about being burnt out: just finished renovating the salon, starting to get busy, still in school and wanting to work, very tired and annoyed!

I feel you pain!
