Rep Power: 0 | Ok, where is everyone going for Xmas Eve? I'll start. I'll be working the salon until 5pm, then go home take a shower, let the dog out, grab my mom and go to my brothers. I really don't want to go there, because we don't really get along, but my kids will be there, and the rest of my family. He lives about 15 minutes away from my house which is good that I don't have to do alot of traveling. But, he wants to have a big sit down dinner. Ewewwwwwwww!! Not on Xmas Eve. Xmas maybe, but Xmas Eve? I remember Xmas Eve of having shrimp, and hot ham, Ground round, cookies, cheese and sauage, taco dip, and alot of drinking,etc... Why do these things have to change? Why can't it be like the old days? Xmas I will stay home with mom, and play cards, and have another big meal. You remember, the traditional Xmas dinner........ I will gain 15 pounds, and will be wearing sweat pants for the next 3 months because I won't be able to get in any of my clothes. HO HO HO!!!!!!!!! What are you going to be doing? Do you have to travel far? Your not having a big meal for Xmas Eve are you? Could someone write my brother and tell him that isn't what you eat on Xmas Eve........Please........... |

Rep Power: 23 | Working the real job until 1p on XMas Eve. Finishing some last minute shopping and wrapping. Going to the father and step-mother in laws at 6p. XMas morning, having some quiet time with the boyfriends and my little furry babies. XMas evening going to the mother-in-laws. Luckily and also unlikely at other times all the in-laws live less than 30 minutes away. Big meals on both days unfortunately. The mother and step-mother try to outdo each other every year. I'll be the same as you. Sweatpants for at least a couple of weeks. |

Rep Power: 0 | We have always opened our presents Christmas morning. But this year we are starting a new tradition. Since 2 of my kids are grown and out of the house, they have their own traditions to start for Christmas. So we have decided to have our family gift exchange on Christmas Eve. It will be like Chris's 'old days'. Shrimp, ham, chips, crackers, dips, sweets, etc.... Christmas music playing, kids all laughing and talking at once. Several conversations going at a time. In other words our normal family chaos! But we love it! Christmas day we will still have 'Santa' with our 3 youngest who don't really believe in Santa anymore but are still playing the game. We will then go to my son's house for Christmas dinner. Happy Holidays! |

Rep Power: 0 | Been making fudge(20 batches)all week and go to my mothers on Saturday,Christmas Eve go to my Grandmothers for dinner , Christmas morning breakfast with my dad and step-mom, then have 4.5 hours to go to the inlaws. Lots of running around to do but its worth it to watch the kids expressions on their faces. MERRY CHRISTMAS |

Rep Power: 25 | Christmas Eve at my Mom's. We've always had our big traditional meal on Christmas Eve & opened presents. You know Santa Claus comes for Christmas. My sister & brother-in-law cooks this wonderful breakfast: grits casserole, home-made danish, ham, eggs on Christmas Day. It's the bomb! Elsa, now I know why you stay so busy...it's all those boyfriends of yours! |
