Rep Power: 26 | FYI: Last night at 11:49 pm Bruce made a post on the TanToday USA Forum titled "Sunday Nite Chat - Lotion Discussion" that contained some derogatory and insulting comments about me by Brenda Fishbaugh and (according to Brenda) Max Recone. This morning I found that this post had "magically" disappeared from TT ( TanTalk ). I wonder (not really!) why? [FYI, Bruce, I have a complete copy of the post that I will give my attorney this morning!] Here are some of the verbatim comments: 23:03:36 [Brenda}>[TanToday] Don is over on the Chick Chat putting everyone to sleep! Glad he's not screwing up your chat. 22:07:20 [Brenda]>[TanToday] Max always starts to private message me when Don comes on...joke...someone asked Don the time and he is giving the history of watchmaking! 23:19:35 [Brenda]>[TanToday] It's best friends chatting, but they've lost interest in themselves. But you gotta keep Don of of here. The "comments" Brenda is referring to came from a discussion some of us (who have the experience and intellectual capacity to understand it) were having regarding LP vs HP tanning. Obviously, neither Brenda or Max understood it or were interested in it! Since some of our discussion touched upon the reasons why "tingling" lotions are not adviseable for clients using HP tanning units, one would think that Max might have been interested. The interesting thing is that both Max and Brenda acted (in Can Cun) like they were our (my wife and I) "best friends" face-to-face. Then, they turn around and insult me behind my back. Says something about their REAL character as opposed to the PR version doesn't it. I'll have some interesting things to say at the Thursday night "chat" here and the Sunday night "chat" on TanLovers.com about some incredible (and scientifically unsupportable!) comments Brenda made in Can Cun that you will all find VERY interesting. Comments Brenda? Comments Max? Comments Bruce? Don PS: One of the glaring things we noticed in Can Cun is that the manufacters BADLY need to become better educated about the science of tanning. Lots of misinformation passed off as facts! |

In one sentence you are stating that the post was made on TanToday. In the next sentence you reference TT ( TanTalk ). Which board was the post originally made on? |

Rep Power: 26 | I'm confused too! I said "TT" and somehow the words "Tan Talk" got automatically inserted. The post was on Bruce's website. Michael has more "class" than to post something so offensive. The fact of the matter is that some, if not most, of the manufacturers look down their noses as us "lowly" (in their eyes) tanning salon owners. This "exchange" between Brenda Fishbaugh and Bruce shows that contempt! Don |

Boy that is confusing. I said ( not that the word replacement is turned off ) that the software replaces TT with TT ( TanTalk ). This feature is used to replace profame / slang words to a more tame selected word. Is everyone confused now? | |

Rep Power: 23 | Chunn - I am now thoroughly confused. Could we possibly remove that feature? Don - Now, that I am unconfused about your situation that you posted, I am not surprised by this behavior at all. There is way too much backbiting in this industry. Unfortunately, there are a ton of distributors and manufacturers out there that don't understand that plight of a salon owner. Until they do, things will never change. And some of them are just in it for the money and know absolutely nothing about tanning. I've learned to take everything that is said with a grain of salt and keep in the back of my mind that most people have some sort of agenda. |
