July 4th cookout

With the fourth of July approaching, I thought I'd share a recepie for an excellent side dish to bring to a cookout. I have a friend who is a chef and he made this for us and it is sooooo easy and delicious. Comibine 2 cans of artichoke hearts, drained, one thinly sliced red onion, can of sliced mushrooms drained, and 1/2 cup of grated romano cheese. Mix with italian dressing (tastes better if you make your own with Good seasons italian mix) Chill for 30 minutes and serve. It's always a hit. [ 06-28-2001: Message edited by: linda nickel ]

Try some cous-cous with that, adds carbs and feeds more people!
