This tip was passed on to me by one of my customers who is a hairdresser. If people are complaining that thweir hair dries out due to tanning tell them to spray a light mist of leave in conditioner in their hair prior to tanning.. The heat from the bed actually makes it penetrate more and condition better..

This may not be good for the acrylic, and wet hair magnifies the uv rays allowing even more damage. Wrap the hair in a towel is best. Or better yet don't abuse you hair so it will not be damaged to begin with. The small amount of tanning time in a booth or bed does little is anything to normal hair.

ChipppI know you have all stand up units, but it is very hard to keep your hair wrapped up in a towel while standing to tan,,Plus my beds all have pillows, and also their hair isn;t wet it is a light mist on dry hair I do it myself and it works wonders.

Why not use one of the Solar Caps? I have sold loads of them and my clients are very happy with them. It is suppose to block more uv rays out that just a towel.

Solar caps sell good for me. But, diff. strokes for diff. folks. I mostly sell to the ones that have perms and color treated hair.
