Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Ok,long story here.I have this employee that is really getting under my skin.Starting out,She was getting to work at 5 'till,then on the dot,then a few minutes late.Then I found out that she brought a girl down from our gym to watch the salon so she could pick her boyfriend up from work,gone maybe 15-20 minutes.Didn't inform us of this or write it down on her time card.I have tons of gripes about her but this main one I would like an opinion on.Oh,by the way,a lot of the things that she does like leaving and closing early,customers come in and tell me.Anyway,I was watching on our monitor and she tells a customer that she isn't getting any color at out salon ,so,she is tanning elsewhere.How would you handle this one.You don't tell customers that you are not getting any color with us.I'm not having any trouble.I noticed in the trash can the other day a packette of lotion that we do not carry and wondered where it came from,now I know.Forgot to include this one,too,AFTER she was hired and working for several weeks she tells me she is getting marrieD.Ok,I'M thinking taking the weekend off,heck no,she's taking off for 10 days. She figured I'd understand since it is for "special" circumstances.Can anybody PLEASE help me with this one.Should I just let her go after her 10 days off because "having talks" don't work.One ear and out the other.Thank you so much for any responses. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Opinions needed please Thank you.Her last day at work before she leaves for her wedding is today.Another question,should I tell her before or after her wedding.I really don't understand these people.Her soon to be quit his job because he didn't have enough days in to take off for the wedding.How stupid.I don't want to ruin "her day",guilt setting in on my part,but I know I need to.What do I do? |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Opinions needed please I know I kind of flip flop both ways.I think about how I feel then about how she is gonna feel.Bad situation,but I know I have to do what is best for the salon and I appreciate that I have honest customers.We have had so much trouble out of employee's,we can't keep them.They never do what they are suppose to.Sneaky... |

If I had seen that on the monitor, I would have got in my car, drove there, and told her to get the FXXX out. I would not let her work today. screw her and her wedding. your business and the future of your business is about you, not her. I would give her a not for resale pack of lotion and tell her congratulations in her marriage and SEE YA, BYE!!! |
