For those of you that have beds with electronic ballast,hows the performance? Have you noticed lower electric bills? Do your clients like the results? Iam purchasing new equiptment soon would like some feedback...........suzie sun

From what I hear they eat through lamps faster than choke so the savings would be cheap at best. Also I don't know of any lamps that are designed for this ballast sooooooo in a tanning salon this may not be the best idea seeing LAMPS are pretty important part of the whole process.

thanx,about a hundred years ago I had a suntanna sb3.......electronic ballast customers complained that it want hot enough didnt know if it was same technology all wrapped up in a differnt package or not.

IT is and that's what bothers me. Home tanning parts being put into commercial tanning beds.

Who's saving money again?

It's like bringing a Honda Accord to a drag race. Yeah, the honda won't burn as much gas but we are only talking $5 in gas TOTAL and you aren't getting the results (winning the race) for such a minimal savings.

Eng has no expertise on electronic ballasts, Do some real research. All electric ballasts are not the same. Check out the new big beds fro KBL and Ergoline (they both use electronic ballasts) those beds kick ***.

Eng go try the new big beds, I used to be with ya brotha but these new beds rock!

I know you hate Ergoline but hop in a 1100 for 10 min or a KBL 6800 alpha for 10 min. these beds kick arse!
