Hard to please husband and wife - tanTALK

So we have these 2 people who used to tan at a salon with a 20 min bed with only 2800 watts and no facials... They came to our salon and did our 15 min 36/140w and 3/ 500w facials and said they didn't get any color... THEN they came and traded their last 2 sessions for our 7 min 54/220w stand up and STILL complained about getting no color... How would you guys handle this because we are getting frustrated?

If these are the only two complaining, and your lamps are still good, fire them. Have you tanned in your beds lately and used a sticker or metered your lamps?

They are brand new lamps... just relamped them 2 weeks ago...

Are they using a lotion?
Maybe they're just "tanorexic" and dont see the color they're getting.

and frequency of tanning, I love the people that come in 1 time every 10 days and complain they are not getting any color..

Agree with the above. Best you can do with these folks is offer them some brown paint...they are just as dark as they are going to get in your beds.

You will always have a few customers like this. Its the nature of the beast. Dont let it bother you. Its the darkest people that complain they are not dark enough.

Yeah, I tell them they have broken skin and to get off the McDonalds and try broccoli for a change.

Sons of *****es will go full time in a deer cooker and get nothing and the next person will do half the time and turn black.

People are just ridiculous PERIOD. You cant please everyone, thats one thing Ive learned over and over in this industry. I have people that say "I get NOTHING from your 15 minute VLR Bed" (34 Lamos with Reflectors/3 Facials) and those same people RAVE about the color they get in my 20 min bed. They want to be RED.... I suggest you choose one bed, and put HIGH UVB lamps in it, and it will shut em up.
